Don't tell dad ... Barney's girl hens in Kerry Dublin Legend's GIRL Hazel celebrates hen in THE Kingdom

HER dad Barney's heart was broken by Kerry on many occasions, but Hazel Rock returned to The Kingdom to celebrate her hen party.

The Dublin beauty and pals turned heads at Ladies' Day at the Killarney Races with their stunning headpieces created by milliner Suzanne Ryan.

Hazel was joined by 40 friends who made sure she had the time of her life, while her fiance Shane D'Arcy enjoyed his stag weekend ahead of their wedding this autumn.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of three-time All-star Barney (inset), who was a member of the Dublin senior panel from 1980 to 1991 and won an All-Ireland medal against Galway in 1983.

He was part of the team better known as Heffo's Army that fought many an epic battle against Kerry in the 1980s.

Hazel is one of three girls in the family with sisters Nora and Jennifer.

Their brother Dean has also lined out for the Dubs and matched his dad's record by winning
an All-Ireland medal last year.

But it was local girl Helena Madigan from Killarney who turned judge Sinead Desmond's head, winning the Littlewoods Best Dressed Lady title and a voucher for €1,500.

For mother-of-one and maths and science teacher Helena, it was the last hurrah before she goes back to school at Presentation Secondary in Tralee next Monday.
