Devastated sister's plea for lost gold pendant

A BRIDE-to-be has pleaded for help to find this gold pendant (right), which she lost in the Dublin 4 area.

The pendant has special significance for Triona Curran – it was one of six commissioned by her family in the wake of her brother's tragic death in 2010.

"I was going to the gym, so it was either in that area or else near my house, which is on Barrow Street but it was one of those two areas but I'm pretty sure it was the Fitzwilliam Square area," she said.

"I'll reward for the value of the gold. It's absolutely priceless to me and my family to have it back.

"I'm getting married in six weeks and I just really, really want to have it back –I know it's a long shot," she added.

Triona lost the pendant on the evening of February 14 and enclosed in it are some of her brother's ashes.

Her brother drowned in a sailing accident in July 2010 and she is "devastated" at the thought of not having the pendant on her wedding day. Triona believes she lost it around Fitzwilliam Square/Pembroke Street or around Spar on the Barrow Street area.

It is a gold chain with a solid gold pebble pendant on it and has three lines etched in on it.

She has the email address lostgoldenpendant@gmail.com so anyone with information can contact her.
