Death plunge toddler's parents post 'thank you' video

THE parents of the little boy who plunged to his death from a city apartment have thanked those who gave them "help and support" during this "difficult time".

Gardai are preparing a file for the DPP following the tragic death of toddler Sebastian Pereira Kus in the south inner city on April 25.

The 21-month-old plunged 60ft after slipping out a fifth-floor window of the Tramyard apartments in Inchicore.

This week, his grieving parents, Emmie and Kamil, thanked their friends and family. Brazilian-born Emmie posted an emotional video of Sebastian dancing to pop music with his father, Kamil.

Emmie wrote: "This small video is just our way to say thank [you] to everyone for all the help and support. God bless you guys thank you very much. Now sit down and learn some new moves from our little pro Sebastian Mambo. Happy feet!!"

In the video, Sebastian dances around with a huge smile on his face in the company of his parents.

Emmie, a make-up artist, last week posted a poignant tribute in memory of her son. Quoting from Winnie The Pooh, she wrote: "If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever."

The Herald previously revealed that Dublin City Council has ordered a full safety inspection of the locks of the Tramyard apartments.

Emmie was unaware her little boy had fallen until emergency teams knocked on her door.
