The charity ice bucket challenge shows no sign of slowing down as Chris de Burgh joins a myriad other Irish stars who have taken part in the fun to raise awareness for Motor Neuron Disease.
Former Miss World Rosanna Davison (pictured) posted the video of her dad on her Twitter page showing him soaking himself with cold water from a bucket, all in the name of raising awareness for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
"Go dad!! The #IceBucketChallenge in aid of Motor Neurone Disease (Txt MND to 50300 to donate) Thanks to Paul Byrom for the nomination," she said.
The crooner finished the video with the bucket on his head.
"I've been nominated by Paul Byrom, the wonderful singer," Chris said before embracing the cold water at his Wicklow home.
Other Irish celebs who have taken on the challenge over the past few days include Roz Purcell, Ryan Tubridy and Niall Horan.
The trend has made its way across the Atlantic as it went down a storm in the US with celebrities including Eva Longoria, Ben Affleck and Justin Bieber freezing themselves all to raise awareness for the disease.
