She's expecting her first baby but Dawn O'Porter is showing no signs of slowing down as she's just landed a six-figure book deal with Harper Collins.
The TV presenter and columnist has signed on to write two adult novels with the publishing giant after the astounding success of her young adult books, which she published with Hot Key Books.
Her debut young adult novel - Paper Aeroplanes - was published in 2013, and was short-listed for the Waterstones' Children's Book Prize, as well as being sold into seven territories, including the US and Germany.
Speaking of her move into the adult market, Dawn (35) said it was a dream come true.
"I remember when I first moved to London nearly 15 years ago and I stood staring at the doors of Harper Collins thinking 'one day I'll be in there'. Well I got there eventually and couldn't be more thrilled," she continued.
"I'm so ready to venture into adult fiction and it's so encouraging to have the support of such a brilliant publishing house behind me," she added.
Not content with a TV show and now a stellar book deal, Chris O'Dowd's better half has also just launched her own fashion line.
fashion Her debut clothing line is called BOB by Dawn O'Porter and is a vintage- inspired collection of dresses, tunic tops and A-Line skirts.
Speaking about venturing into the fashion world the mum-to-be said she had always wanted to design a retro clothing range.
"I just needed to learn the confidence. It just felt like now is the right time," she revealed.
And despite having her own line and access to any clothes she could want, Dawn has shunned maternity wear during her pregnancy - like fellow author and friend, actress Amy Huberman.
"I kind of hate the idea of maternity fashion - there's a lot of nautical and horizontal stripes out there," she said.
"You don't want to spend any money because the time just goes so quickly, so I'm trying to work with what I've got."
Meanwhile, it has been revealed this week that Dawn will give birth to the couple's first child in January.
"We're having our baby in America definitely but I don't know where we're going to be living in five years," Dawn revealed.
"It's nice that we travel all the time and we love living in LA," she said.
