Daily flights take off to New York

THE Big Apple is now even more accessible to Irish people as American Airlines have announced a new non-stop service between Dublin and New York.

And the daily flight -- with an 11.30am arrival and a 6.55pm departure from JFK -- makes a one-day trip to New York a possibility for our business clients.

The new flight will take off from June next year, subject to Government approval. The move will connect up to 50 onward flights within the USA and will be available for sale from November 5, this year. With a departure time of 9am from Dublin, it means this new service will be the first flight leaving Ireland for New York (JFK) each day and will be available throughout the year.
