Curfew slapped on teen robber

A TEENAGER who robbed a delivery man and cost his victim his job has been ordered to obey a curfew pending his sentence hearing.

The 16-year-old boy had been detained by the Dublin Children's Court in December for taking the delivery man's car.

But he has yet to be sentenced for robbery of the victim in Ballyfermot, west Dublin, on January 16 last year. He was remanded to appear again in April.

Earlier, the court heard the victim lost his job as a result of his car being written off.
