Cousin Henry's snap from Obama family album

HERE'S one for the family album. While most of us dread the postman arriving with bills, it's a little different when you're Barack Obama's cousin.

Henry Healy was delighted yesterday when an envelope arrived from the White House.

Inside was a signed picture of Healy and his sister Avril along with Barack and Michelle Obama.

The picture of the four, from St Patrick's Day in The White House, read "To Henry, wonderful to see you again! Barack Obama".

And with speculation mounting that the Healys could be hosting their distant cousins again next month, Henry told the Herald that he was delighted with the present. "I've been waiting for it for a while actually," he said. "It was from my St Patrick's Day trip with my sister Avril.

"I've been there twice this year and twice last year, including the convention, and it's been great. There's always been a huge welcome for me over there."

But the welcome may soon have to be returned with Michelle rumoured to be planning a trip to Obama's ancestral home in Moneygall, Co Offaly.

While Barack will be attending the high-powered G8 summit in Fermanagh, the First Lady and their two little girls are expected to make a trip to the Republic.
