Truck sale case is dismissed

A TEENAGER accused of stealing €3,000 from a man after duping him into believing he had a truck for sale has had the charge struck out.

Colin Daly (18) had denied that he advertised the truck for sale and when the victim transferred the money to his account he failed to show up with the vehicle.

Judge David McHugh struck out the allegation.

Daly, of Old Court Mill in Tallaght, appeared before Blanchardstown District Court charged with theft between September 29 and October 1 last.
