A TEENAGER accused of robbing a set of car keys from his own home has been sent forward for trial.
Ross Cahill (19) is facing trial in the Circuit Court after the DPP ruled the matters were too serious for the District Court.
Cahill, of Parlickstown Court, in Mulhuddart, appeared before Blanchardstown District Court charged with robbery.
The alleged incident took place at a house at Wellview Avenue, in Mulhuddart on June 24.
It is alleged that Cahill robbed a set of car keys, worth €50, from another man.
State solicitor Ann Collins said the book of evidence was ready and had been served on the accused.
