A TEENAGER who handled stolen children's clothing and toys has claimed she was led astray by an older woman.
Shannon Connors (19), of Booterstown Park in Booterstown, admitted to two counts of handling stolen property before Dun Laoghaire District Court.
Judge Bridget Reilly convicted and fined Connors €400.
The incident took place at Crofton Road in Dun Laoghaire on June 30 last year.
Garda Sergeant Peadar McCann said Connors handled three stolen pairs of children's jeans, valued at €90, and children's toys, worth €109.
The court heard Connors has no previous convictions.
