A DUBLIN man allegedly caught in possession of a number of pieces of stolen jewellery is facing trial on the charges.
Joey McKeown (37) allegedly had a number of pieces of gold and silver jewellery after he was stopped in Blackrock, south Dublin.
The accused, with an address at Rockford Park, Blackrock, appeared before Dun Laoghaire District Court charged with possession of stolen property.
The incident allegedly took place at Dargle Road, Blackrock, last August 9.
Judge Bridget Reilly adjourned the matter for six weeks to a date next month for the service of the book of evidence.
