A YOUNG man was under the influence of the legal high 'snow blow' when he turned up at his ex-girlfriend's home, smashing her bedroom window and trashing her car, a court heard.
Jonathan O'Neill (22) had a problem with recreational drugs when he carried out the attack on his former girlfriend's car and home.
O'Neill, of Barnamore Park, Finglas, pleaded guilty at Dublin District Court to three counts of criminal damage to six car windows, a patio door and bedroom window on October 13, 2010.
He also admitted trespassing at his ex's home, putting her in fear on November 14.
He pleaded guilty to an unrelated charge of unlawful possession of a can of pepper spray in an incident on March 5, 2011.
Judge Catherine Murphy adjourned the case to November 29 for a report from the restorative justice programme.
