RUGBY star Cian Healy has appeared in court to face prosecution for having tinted windows on his car.

The Ireland and Leinster prop had to come to Dublin District Court after receiving summonses but his case was adjourned until April.

He is accused of not having insurance on his vehicle at the Malahide Road, Dublin on February 23 2013 and of breaking road traffic regulations by having dark glass fitted on his all-terrain 12-reg Land Rover Defender.

The Six Nations hero also faced another summons for allegedly driving in a bus lane on September 7, 2013 at the North Strand Road, in Dublin.

The 27-year-old, from Howth Road, Killester, Dublin, was represented by his lawyer who asked Judge Miriam Malone to grant an adjournment to allow time for his client to produce his insurance details and have them verified by the prosecuting garda.

Judge Malone agreed to adjourn the case.
