More charges for attack boy

A 15-YEAR-OLD boy, who kicked a Chinese man's head "like it was a football" in a gang attack, is now facing more charges.

The schoolboy has pleaded guilty at the Dublin Children's Court to assault causing harm at Sean McDermott Street, on May 31 last.

A new charge was brought against the boy for damaging several doors at an apartment building in north inner city Dublin on October 25 last. He was remanded in custody.

Cheerleader in pom-pom snub

A teenage cheerleader who was sexually assaulted by a star basketball player is to appeal after a court ruled she had no right to refuse to applaud her attacker.

The girl, known as HS, is suing Silsbee High School in Texas for expelling her after she told coaches she was not prepared to shake her pom-poms in support of her attacker, Rakheem Bolton.

She is suing after she got the boot for folding her arms and sitting down whenever Bolton's name was cheered.
