A Love/Hate star accused of pointing a loaded gun at a hotel employee after allegedly robbing him of more than €50,000 has been given another five days before he is sent for trial.
Stephen Clinch (49) is accused of carrying out an armed robbery with an accomplice while bags of cash were being handed to a security man.
A book of evidence was ready to be served on him at Dublin District Court yesterday.
However, the court heard the person standing surety for his bail is out of the country.
Judge Anthony Halpin extended the time required for service of the book of evidence and adjourned the case to Monday.
Mr Clinch from Millbrook Grove, Kilbarrack, who played Noely in the hit RTE series, is charged with robbery at The Gate Hotel, Parnell Street on May 11.
He is also charged with possession of a firearm.
Defence solicitor Jenny McGeever said the surety would not be back in Ireland until Saturday and requested the adjournment.
