A JUNIOR chef who had just over €1,000 worth of cannabis herb in his home was selling the drug to his friends, Swords District Court has heard.
Stephen Lynch (23) made full admissions to supplying his friends with the drug after his house was searched by gardai and the drugs located.
Lynch, of Applewood Square, Applewood Village in Swords, pleaded guilty to being in unlawful possession of €1,100 worth of cannabis herb for sale or supply on October 14, 2014, at his home address.
Garda David Smith gave evidence that he searched the house Lynch is renting with friends and found the cannabis herb.

He said Lynch has no previous convictions and that it was a "low range operation".
Lynch's solicitor explained that the 23-year-old was buying the drug and selling it among his friends.
"He has sought help and is drug-free now,' the solicitor said, adding that Lynch works as a junior chef.
Judge Dermot Dempsey ordered a Probation & Welfare report on Lynch for September 14 and also ordered that Lynch provide urine analysis to prove he is drug-free. He said if the report and urine analysis is satisfactory he may take a certain course.
