Drug theft suspect faces trial

A WOMAN who allegedly robbed a pharmacy assistant of cash and prescription drugs has been sent forward for trial.

Lindsay Green (34) allegedly took Viagra as well as Valium and Dalcame during the robbery.

She is facing trial by judge and jury in the Circuit Court after the matter was deemed to be too serious for the District Court.

Green, of Thornfield Square, Watery Lane, Clondalkin, appeared before Blanchardstown District Court charged with robbery.

The alleged incident took place at Bradley's Pharmacy, Woodford Walk in Clondalkin on February 11 last.

It is alleged that Green robbed €100 in cash and a quantity of prescription drugs, including Viagra, Valium, Dalmane, Anixcalm and Zimovane worth €300.

The defendant now goes forward to the next sittings of Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

She did not apply for any bail.
