A 14-year-old boy, who drove a young woman from her home after he tried to break in, has had his sentencing adjourned for six weeks.
The teenager pleaded guilty at the Children's Court last month to a break-in at the woman's former home, on Eugene Street in Dublin 8 on July 22. A probation report had been ordered and he was in court again yesterday.
However, Judge Michael Walsh was told that the teenager had missed some of his appointments with his probation officer.
He remanded the boy on bail for an updated probation report and adjourned the case to November 29.
