€100,000 drugs case is sent for trial

A MAN has been sent for trial accused of possession of more than €100,000 worth of cocaine, cannabis and amphetamine.

Mark Kavanagh (38), who is also alleged to have had a revolver and ammunition, had a book of evidence served on him at Blanchardstown District Court.

Mr Kavanagh, of Buirg An Ri, Balgaddy, Lucan, is charged with possession of cocaine, cannabis and fluoramphetamine with intent to sell or supply.

He is further charged with unlawful possession of a .455 Webley Mark 6 model revolver and six altered .410 calibre shotgun cartridges.

Judge David McHugh returned him to the present sittings of Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on April 4.
