Confidence at Ryanair

RYANAIR has said it is confident its offer to take over Aer Lingus will get European Commission clearance.

The airline said discussions about its "radical package of remedies" designed to address the EC's competition concerns would continue.

Under the package, multiple airlines will commit to open new bases in Ireland and enter all 35 Ryanair/Aer Lingus routes not served by other airline competitors.
