US-led coalition aircraft unleashed a series of airstrikes targeting the Islamic State group's stronghold of Raqqa in eastern Syria, killing at least 10 militants and wounding many others in one of the largest coalition operations carried out in Syria to date.
At least 16 airstrikes were reported late Saturday and early yesterday.
In a statement issued, the coalition said it had conducted airstrikes throughout Raqqa, destroying vital IS-controlled structures and transit routes in Syria.
Guitarist Wilko Johnson has revealed he remains clear of cancer after a pioneering and complex operation he underwent last year.
The former Dr Feelgood star, who had pancreatic cancer, had a nine-hour procedure to remove a large tumour and extensive sections of his digestive system.
He told The Sunday Times Magazine: "I still can't believe this. They got the cancer. They got it all. I've been for regular check-ups. Nothing! I was supposed to be dead, but here I am."
Chris Moyles is set to return to the airwaves with a breakfast show on commercial radio.
The former BBC Radio 1 host signed a "big money deal" with XFM, according to The Sun on Sunday.
Moyles left the BBC in 2012 after eight years in the breakfast show slot, with listening figures peaking at 7.06 million.
A new morning show, starting in September, would see Moyles competing for listeners with current Radio 1 host and new X Factor judge Nick Grimshaw.
Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz says he won't "attack" primary rival Donald Trump for his comments on Mexican immigrants. Quite the opposite, in fact.
"I salute Donald Trump for focusing on the need to address illegal immigration," said the Texas senator.
"I'm not going to engage in the media's game of throwing rocks and attacking other Republicans."
Trump had previously labelled Mexican immigrants as criminals and rapists.
