Closure aids Laura

INTERIORS firm Laura Ashley made a pre-tax profit of €417,818 in its Irish stores after shutting down its Grafton Street store.

The accounts show it booked a gain of almost €800,000 during the period from the disposal of its lease on the store.

The British retailer has five stores in Ireland and a concession in House of Fraser in Dundrum.
