Ballyfermot: Drop in drug detections
There were 39 detections for the sale and supply of drugs in Ballyfermot last year, as opposed to 52 in 2013. This represented a drop of 25pc. For the whole of 2014, gardai in the area carried out 1,496 drug-related searches.
There was also a decrease in the number of incidences of public drunkenness here last year, with 30 reports in 2014, and 40 in 2013.
However, burglaries were up 21pc in 2014.
