Certificate unavailable in €63,000 drugs case

A CERTIFICATE of analysis remains outstanding in the case of a man facing drugs charges after gardai seized €60,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis.

Keith Pigott (35) is also accused of allowing his home in Finglas to be used for the preparation of drugs.

Judge David McHugh adjourned the matter until February for the certificate of analysis and the DPP's directions.

The accused appeared before Blanchardstown District Court charged with possession of cannabis and cocaine and having the drugs for sale or supply at his home at Berryfield Drive, Finglas, last October 20.

Mr Pigott, an unemployed father-of-three, is also accused of knowingly allowing the preparation of drugs at his home.

The alleged street value of the drugs is €63,000.
