Celebs hit the dancefloor, but it's strictly for charity

BROADCASTER Eoghan McDermott made a rare public appearance with his girlfriend Jo Archbold at the the weekend.

The radio presenter brought his other half along for moral support as he took to the dancefloor for a Strictly for Breast Cancer event on Saturday night.

Disaster struck for the big-haired host however as his dance partner Judith Ni Mhuircheartaigh was injured in last minute rehearsals.

Gill Keogh then stepped up to the plate and the pair danced the Charleston for second place.

However Make Up Forever director Annie Gribbin and former international rugby referee Alan Lewis were crowned the winners in front of over 1,000 people in Dublin's Convention Center.

Tv3's Sinead Desmond also wowed judges with her re-enactment of the famous Dirty Dancing song - complete with the difficult lift by former Mr World Kamal Ibrahim.

Charlie Bird, Adrienne Kennedy and solicitor Gerald Keane were also put through their paces for the charity.

It is expected that the star-studded event will raise over €100,000 for Breast Cancer Ireland.
