Caroline returns to screens in TV3 role

CAROLINE Morahan has temporarily left the bright lights of Hollywood behind her for a brief return to Irish screens.

The stylish presenter turned actress moved to LA five years ago to pursue acting roles. But Caroline (36) made a stylish return yesterday to TV3 screens.

It seems Tinseltown suits the Dubliner, who looked fresh-faced as she joked around with Ireland AM presenters Anna Daly and Sinead Redmond.

Caroline previously presented Off the Rails, but quit Ireland because she feared being
pigeon-holed as a presenter and wanted to be taken seriously as an actress. However, she has found chasing roles in LA is hard work.

But yesterday, as the Littlewoods ambassador turned her hand to cookery and dishing out style advice to Irish audiences from the Ballymount station, she proved that she still has what it takes to anchor a show.
