Car-smash boy is held on bail Tractor wagon crash kills 23

A 16-year-old boy accused of smashing up a car has been remanded on bail by a judge who said: "I am fed up looking at him."

He pleaded not guilty at the Children's Court to criminal damage to the car at Portland Row, on June 12 of last year.

The car owner said he received a call from Store Street Garda station telling him his car had been towed away. The back window was smashed and the contents of the glove compartment strewn on the floor. The court heard the teen was staying in a residential treatment centre for troubled youths.
