Canada site for Irish

IRISH businessmen have set up a new website to help Irish emigrants hoping to call Canada their new home.

The website Moving2Canada.com will be unveiled later this week at the Work Abroad Expo in Dublin.

The initiative was started by two Irishmen, Ruairi Spillane and Ian McAteer to give newcomers objective information and a sense of community in their adopted home.

After the recession hit in 2008, the Irish community in Canada grew at an exponential rate.

A similar site, Moving2Vancouver, provides information via comments on accommodation and employment and receives more than 9,000 visitors each month from more than 70 countries.
