Cab firm profits fall 81pc

THE LARGEST taxi company in the country, National Radio Cabs, was hit with an 81pc fall in profits to just €78,131.

Revenues at the company plummeted by 25pc from €15m in 2009 to €11.2m to the end of February last year.

The figures show that in spite of the drop in turnover, the company's administrative costs decreased only marginally from €2.36m to €2.33m.
