Business college sees profits rise to €3.1m

THE COMPANY behind the Dublin Business School (DBS) recorded an increase in profits to €3.1m.

The school, based at Aungier Street, Dublin, is the largest independent third-level institution in Ireland and recorded a pre-tax profits rise from €3m to €3.1m in 2009. Accounts for Accountancy and Business College Holdings Limited for 2009 outline that turnover also rose, from €25.9m to €26.1m.

Gross profits, however, fell from €17.7m to €17.4m, while operating profit was up from €2.6m to €3m.
