Buble's heading for a late, late showdown

Temperatures are set to soar among the ladies in RTE this weekend when Canadian super-hunk Michael Buble appears on the Late Late Show. As well as jetting in to do the honours with the Christmas lights on Grafton Street and unveiling BT's festive window, he'll also be dishing the dirt to Ryan Tubridy that evening.

But he's not the only musician appearing on the show. The Diary can reveal how the show will help renowned performer Brendan Grace, inset, celebrate his 60th birthday, which coincides with his 40th year in showbiz. He'll be joined on the show by a plethora of long-term pals including showband legends Red Hurley, Sonny Knowles and Dickie Rock as well as 'memory man' Jimmy Magee, Shay Healy and comedian Sil Fox.
