The Republic of Ireland Women's U19s have made it to the European Championship Semi-Finals.
They defeated Sweden 2-1 last night at the UKI Arena to top their group and advance.
Sweden's captain Julia Wahlberg opened the scoring after just 8 minutes.
However, the Irish side started fighting back straight away with Chloe Mustaki leading by example in midfield.
Despite the heat, the Irish side went on to beat Sweden with goals from Savannah McCarthy and Megan Connolly which pushed their team through to Thursday's semi final where they will face the Netherlands.
The Irish team, coached by Dave Connell, have been putting in superb performances at the Championship being held in Sweden.
They had previously beaten England and Spain to make it to the top of their group.
The FAI tweeted in support of the girls last night saying: "#IRLWU19vSWE Full-Time: Ireland 2-1 Sweden. The history girls have done it again as they march into the semi-finals."
