Heartbroken Pippa O'Connor has spoken about how her little boy helped her cope with the tragic death of her mother Louise Mullen.
The top Irish model took to her blog to post a touching message to her fans and readers and thank them for support after her mum, who was in her early 60s, was found dead at her home last weekend.
Pippa and her siblings are "utterly devastated" at their loss, she said.
"Just a quick note to thank you for supporting me while I took a little break last week.
"I really did appreciate all the kind messages. I know dealing with my mum's passing is going to be a long road so I'm going to take it one day at a time."
In the heartfelt post, Pippa (29) credited her husband Brian Ormond and her son Ollie with helping her through the dark days.
"I'm very lucky to have great support around me. My brother and sister are such a comfort to me as they share the feelings and loss that I do," she said.
"As for Brian and Ollie, I don't know what I'd do without them.
"Ollie is incredible, he continues to make me laugh and smile everyday. I'm so thankful to have him."
Pippa also wrote that she had taken a break from her website but would be back soon.
"Obviously I needed to take the time out from my website but I'm happy to be back now as I love doing this and find it therapeutic at the moment," she said.
"I don't feel up to writing much else about my mum at the moment. There are no words to describe the feeling," she added.
Pippa, who is the youngest of three, attended the funeral with her siblings Cian and Susanna.
