Boy's firm sees profit

THE inventor behind an innovative puzzle, Conor Murray (16) from Blanchardstown, has turned his passion into a profitable business.

Conor's company Sha-Donk makes wooden tabletop puzzles. The teen thought of the idea while on holidays and is targeting his novelty product at anybody looking for small gifts or puzzles for children.

Six finalists at the Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Awards were each forced to make a pitch to the judging panel, similar to Dragons' Den, for the top prize, which Conor finally won. He has made ¤613 profit in three months.
