It's bad enough for a Mick Wallace TD to be encouraging people to break the law, forming part as he does of the campaign against payment of the €100 household tax.
This levy hopes to raise €160m next year -- money that is badly needed to balance the books following the taxpayer-funded bailout of the banks.
But Mick himself owes banks €40m, courtesy of overstretching his own property company during the boom.
So, essentially, he currently owes the taxpayer €40m.
But instead of paying it back, he's encouraging people to boycott a scheme whose introduction has been made necessary by the actions of people like him.
Am I missing something here, or is Wallace quite literally the most shameless man in Ireland?
