Boy quizzed over Lynch shooting

A YOUNG boy was being quizzed by gardai following the shooting of a member of Euromillions winner Dolores McNamara's (right) family.

Michael Lynch (27), who is the father of the multi-millionaire's grandson, was left in a critical condition when he was shot in Limerick last October 28. Gardai swooped on a house in O'Malley Park, the estate where Lynch was shot, and arrested three members of the same family.

A 13-year-old boy, along with his mother and father, were being questioned by detectives about guns seized as part of the investigation.

Lynch split from Dolores' daughter Kevanne (24) in 2006. They have a seven-year-old son.

Gardai confirmed there had been three arrests in relation to the attack.

Anthony Kelly (49), of O'Malley Park, Southill in Limerick, has already appeared in court in Limerick in connection with the shooting of Lynch, accused of possession of a handgun with intent to endanger life.
