Boy caught trespassing at Israeli embassy

A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been remanded on bail pending sentence for trespassing at the Israeli embassy in Dublin.

The teenager pleaded guilty yesterday at the Children's Court to trespassing with intent to commit an offence at the embassy, which is located on Pembroke Road, in Dublin 4, on August 11 last.

Judge Leonard heard that the boy, who has prior criminal convictions, suffered from Aspergers Syndrome, a mild form of autism.

Judge Clare Leonard sought a probation report.
