EVIDENCE will be given by video-link in the trial of a teenage girl accused of attacking a boy of eight.
The girl (15) has pleaded not guilty at the Children's Court to assaulting the boy in south Dublin last November.
Judge Elizabeth MacGrath yesterday ordered that the hearing will take place on a date in September.
The trial will be held at the Criminal Courts of Justice complex because the complainant is to give his evidence by video-link.
Rapper hit by plagiarism row
Rapper Lil Wayne has been slapped with a $15m (¤11m) lawsuit over claims he stole the song BedRock.
Georgia-based production company Done Deal accuses the rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, of copyright infringement for the song that it says it created in 2009.
BedRock also features singers Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lloyd, and reached No 2 in the US charts in 2010.
Lil Wayne has been ordered to appear in court on October 12.
Big sister gang in bank heist
TWO brothers and their big sister are on the run after shooting up a police car and robbing a bank.
Police in Georgia in the US say they are armed with an assault rifle and other weapons. The suspects are Ryan Edward Dougherty (21), Stanley Dylan Dougherty (26) and Grace Lee Dougherty, (29).
The three armed siblings entered a Valdosta, Georgia, bank on Tuesday, fired shots into the ceiling and demanded money. They shot at a police car as they made their escape.
Grand Canyon tourist zapped
A tourist has died after she collapsed following a lightning strike at the Grand Canyon.
Medics carried out CPR on the 64-year-old German woman, but could not revive her. She is thought to have suffered a heart attack.
Five other people in the group were treated for minor injuries after lightning hit the ground nearby, but apparently did not hit them.
The tour group was on the Arizona canyon's South Rim when the bolt of electricity struck yesterday afternoon.
