Bomber Price freed from jail

HIGH-PROFILE republican Marian Price has been released from prison after a ruling by the Parole Commissioners.

The IRA Old Bailey bomber has been detained for more than two years since ex-Northern Ireland secretary Owen Paterson revoked her licence.

Due to ongoing health issues she was held at Belfast City Hospital.

The 58-year-old was convicted along with her sister Dolours Price for their role in the 1973 car bomb attack on the London court, which resulted in the death of one man and injured more than 200. Dolours Price died in Dublin earlier this year.
