Two bombs were discovered at a church in the central Nigerian city of Jos yesterday, a week after about 40 people were killed by two suicide blasts in the Plateau state capital.
"They were removed and detonated," Nigerian officials said. One of the bombs was found in the church's toilet. Africa's most populous nation is enduring the worst spate of violence since President Muhammadu Buhari took office six weeks ago. At least 14 people were killed in attacks on Saturday by suspected Boko Haram militants.
