BOI's ¤470m loan sale

BANK Of Ireland has pledged to raise €470m from the sale of a portfolio of loans to divisions of the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.

The bank said the loans relate to a portfolio of infrastructure and energy assets across North America and Europe.

It plans to sell project finance loans with total commitments of €590m for a price of about 85pc of these commitments.
