IT'S official: BOD is the god of Heineken Cup rugby.
Brian O'Driscoll has topped a poll of rugby fans with a massive 76pc giving him their support.
The quest to find the greatest player in Heineken Cup history put Munster's Ronan O'Gara in second with 15pc of the votes, while Martin Johnson and Diego Dominguez each snagged 1pc.
The remaining 7pc was split between Rocky Elsom, John Hayes, Peter Clohessy, Yannick Jauzion, Peter Stringer and Stephen Ferris.
The survey also found that Ireland's rugby fans consider themselves very passionate, with 39pc selecting 10 when asked to rate how big a rugby fan they consider themselves on a scale of one to 10.
And Irish rugby fans were in confident form when asked who will triumph in the final on May 19.
Some 84pc said Leinster, followed by 9pc for Ulster and 7pc for Clermont. Little hope was held out for Edinburgh.
The same poll found that RTE's Michael Corcoran is the nation's favourite Heineken Cup commentator. He secured 38pc of the vote, narrowly beating Stuart Barnes on 36pc.
