Barretstown boost

SUPERMARKET giant Lidl and Barretstown have teamed up in a new €1m partnership.

It will see the discount retailer supporting the work of the children's charity for the next three years, including advertising support, in-store promotions and mobilising its 3,200 employees across Ireland.

As the first initiative to mark the launch of the partnership, Lidl will be hosting a Bake-Off For Barretstown promotion in stores next week from June 24 to 30 inclusive. For every €1 spent in the in-store bakeries next week, Lidl will be donating 20 cent to Barretstown to allow the charity to continue to rebuild the lives of thousands of children who are coping with serious illness.
