Anthea Turner marriage over

Television presenter Anthea Turner has separated from husband Grant Bovey. The couple married in 2000.

Ms Turner said: "I can confirm we have separated, I need time to consider my immediate plans and will be making no further comment at this time."

The pair initially split up last year after Turner, whose career includes stints on Blue Peter and GMTV, reportedly discovered Bovey had an affair while she was filming in Canada.

They got back together and appeared to have put their rocky patch behind them.

Pope Francis has claimed that a "gay lobby" was at work at the Vatican in private remarks to the leaders of a key Latin American Church group.

The Latin American and Caribbean Confederation of Religious – the regional organisation for priests and nuns of religious orders – confirmed yesterday that its leaders had written a report of the Pope's remarks.

In the document, Pope Francis is quoted as saying that while there were many holy people in the Vatican, there was also corruption: "The 'gay lobby' is mentioned, and it is true, it is there ... We need to see what we can do ..." the report reads.

Three Czech companies have teamed up to make a prototype of a flying electric bicycle that successfully took off yesterday inside an exhibition hall in Prague and landed safely after a remote-controlled, five-minute flight.

Looking like a heavy mountain bike, it weighs 95 kilograms. It has two battery-power propellers in the front, two in the back and one each on the sides.

The singer has recorded a selection of calming tunes including one track, Sleep On, written by royal wedding composer Paul Mealor for the royals' forthcoming arrival. The baby is said to be due next month.
