international health and life insurer Allianz Worldwide Care is to create 100 new positions in Dublin and move into newly-purchased offices in Park West Business Campus, Dublin 12, where its Irish Branch is currently based.
The jobs have been created following a number of new client wins, particularly in the Intergovernmental Organisation (IGO) sector, which now accounts for a significant proportion of the health and life insurance company's client portfolio.
The 100 new jobs will add to the 700 strong workforce operating at the company's operational hub in Park West, Dublin.
It has already created 74 new jobs this year and the recruitment drive for the newly-announced 100 additional jobs has begun.
The 100 people coming on board will benefit from long term development and training opportunities, and experience a client-focused culture which has enabled the company to grow steadily, even in times of economic uncertainty," chief executive Ron Buchan (pictured above with Jobs Minister Richard Bruton) said.
"I believe that the investment in the offices at Park West, together with the creation of these new roles, sends clear signals about our confidence in Ireland's economy and workforce talent," he added.
