Hearts all over the country will break today when All-Star heart-throb Bernard Brogan walks down the aisle with long-term love Keira Doyle.

The award-winning Dublin GAA star (32) will make things official between him and his girlfriend in Kilkenny when the pair tie the knot.

Such is the blue royalty expected to be in attendance at the exclusive bash, even the 'Sam' Maguire will make an appearance.

"Hopefully we'll have him there at some stage," Brogan said.

The couple's church ceremony will be followed by a glitzy bash in the exclusive Mount Juliet in Co Kilkenny.

The Herald can reveal the smitten couple have booked out most of the venue for their celebrations.

Several famous faces are expected to attend the wedding, including All-Ireland winning captain Stephen Cluxton and his wife Joanne alongside Dubs ace Paul Flynn and his girlfriend Fiona Hudson.

His older brother Alan will be groomsman at the wedding alongside his former team-mate Ross McConnell as they join around 200 guests at the wedding.

Brogan said that it should be a "good aul shindig" but admitted that he found it difficult keeping the numbers down, given his large circle of friends.

"A few of the lads will be there but I would love to bring everyone to the wedding," he said. "I have been on the Dublin team for 10 years and I have played with almost 80 or 90 players over that time. Jim Gavin and a couple of the management team will be there."

Brogan celebrated his stag party with a lads trip to Las Vegas as he said his final goodbyes to single life.

He has been dating Keira, who works as an account director for a sports management company, for more than five years and he popped the question at the start of this year.
