Airlines' tax lobby

RYANAIR has teamed up with EasyJet, Virgin and BA to lobby the UK government to drop aviation tax.

The airlines say that this is hurting the economy to a degree that outweighs the revenue raised.

International Airlines Group chief executive and former BA boss Willie Walsh added in an interview that the company could move operations elsewhere. While, Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary ( above) said the discount airline may cut UK seats.
