Aer Lingus in DAA deal

Dublin Airport Authority today announced that they have leased Hangar 6 at Dublin Airport to Aer Lingus for 20 years. Financial terms have not been disclosed.

The facility which was previously used by SRT Technics is 23,000 sqm and is one of the largest commercial buildings in the country.

Constructed in 1991, Hangar 6 is considered the most valuable hangar space at Dublin airport, with two hectares of ground floor giving room to house two Boeing 747 jumbo jets plus five Boeing 737s, in addition to the associated office space for 350 people.
