NEW mum Evanne NiChuilinn has given fans a first look at her gorgeous baby boy.
The RTE newswoman has thanked well-wishers for all their congratulatory messages and was happy to share a picture of her son Seimi on her social networking page.
The Kilkenny native and her long-term partner Brian Fitzsimons welcomed him into the world last Thursday.
Proud mother Evanne (30) showed him sleeping soundly in her lap in her hospital bed.
Last Friday Evanne announced the news of Seimi's arrival: "Our baby boy Seimi arrived earlier today, and doing great... All on cloud nine, best job in the world so far," she told followers.
A host of well-known faces have since sent the sports anchor their congratulations, including Dubs footballer Bernard Brogan and presenter Brian Ormond.
Evanne is a senior camogie player at Portobello GAA club in Rathmines, and is the latest Irish personality to embrace motherhood.
RTE reporter Vivienne Traynor gave birth to her fourth child, son Oscar, five months ago, while colleague and 2fm host Lucy Kennedy is counting the days until her second child arrives.
Lucy told the Herald of her delight for her Montrose pal.
"It's fantastic news. I'm absolutely thrilled for her and hope she enjoys every minute of this special time," said Lucy.
The broadcasters swapped tips last week on how to manage the final stretch of pregnancy.
Meanwhile, illusionist Keith Barry led the Twitter world to believe his wife was expecting triplets. He informed fans: "Wife pregnant with triplets. My life as I know it is over."
However, last night he confessed it was an April Fool's Day prank. "Of course my 'wife having triplets' post was just a little April Fool's joke. Maybe lame, but got some good laughs -- Thanks all."
